A THEORY TEST IS REQUIRED FOR ALL THESE COURSES, EVEN IF YOU HAVE A FULL CAR LICENCE - CALL DAVE FOR MORE INFO.

If you are aged 21 or over, you may opt to take the Direct Access Scheme, (DAS) this means that you will take your test on a machine of over 46.6 bhp; in our case we use Suzuki GS 500’s. On passing by the DAS scheme you will be entitled to ride a machine of any size and power. This course can be taken whether you have little or no experience, and is our most popular course. As with all the courses you will have already taken and passed the motorcycle theory test and have a valid provisional motorcycle licence (cat ‘A’), if you have a full car licence you will already have a provisional motorcycle licence. The DAS course comes in various formats, as defined below:

A CBT is required by anyone doing a DAS Course and can be done before starting the course or in effect becoming Day one of any course, if you already hold one, is it in date? The Examiner will check it thoroughly along with your Theory Certificate. See the details of our CBT on the CBT Fact sheet page

YOU WILL NEED TO DO A THEORY TEST PRIOR TO TAKING A DAS COURSE, A THEORY TEST MUST BE PASSED AT LEAST 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE START OF YOUR COURSE.

The new style Test started on the 27th April 2009, and this Test is conducted in two parts, an off road section and an on road section. The 'Off road' section takes approximately 10 minutes, and must be passed before you take the 40 minute 'Off road' section. The tests will be booked separately, i.e. Once you have booked passed the 'Off road' section, we can apply for the on road section.
